Soil Fertility & Plant Nutrition 3 Week Online Course (15 Hours)

This practical course provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to manage soil health and implement effective plant nutrition programmes in agricultural systems. It focuses on how soil fertility influences plant growth, crop yields, and long-term sustainability.

Learners will explore how to develop soil utilisation plans, apply fertilisation practices, and identify nutrient deficiencies in crops. The course also covers methods used to improve soil quality and maintain productive farmland. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped to make informed decisions that optimise crop production and support sustainable farming practices.

Available in English, Afrikaans, Zulu, Xhosa and Sesotho.

On completion of the course you will receive a QCTO accredited certificate aligned to Unit Standard 116311 (NQF Level 4, Credits: 3).
